Job Title: General Manager

Reports To: Director of Operations

Supervised directly: Associate Managers and all hourly associates.

Purpose for the Position: To manage the restaurant�s operations, maintaining established quality and cost standards to ensure outstanding guest service and maximum profitability.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Floor management to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
  2. Develops short and long term financial and operational plans for the restaurant in support of the corporate objectives.
  3. Develops the annual budget.
  4. Monitors the performance of the restaurant through verification and analysis of financial and results on guest satisfaction measures. Initiates corrective action as required.
  5. Maintains product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating any complaints. Initiates corrective action as required.
  6. Develops and implements local store marketing programs to build sales.
  7. Establishes and maintains an environment that ensures associate motivation, development, and training.
  8. Establishes and maintains applicable preventive maintenance programs to protect the physical assets of the restaurant.
  9. Ensures the security of the restaurant is adequate to provide protection of associates, guests, and assets.
  10. Ensures that two-way communication exists with all associates.
  11. Manages in compliance with established company practices and policies.
  12. Manages in compliance with all local, state, and federal legislation.
  13. Ensures that the restaurant is adequately and competently staffed to meet guest needs.
  14. Utilizes Maximizing Performance to ensure Associate Manager development.
  15. Maintains an environment that ensures associate and guest safety.

Purpose for the Position: To assist the General Manager by performing similar duties and by assuming authority and responsibility of the General Manager during absences. Primary function is to ensure 100% guest satisfaction.
